Coming back. There is something in the air (or should I say the dust) that makes Edmonton almost impossible to enjoy for prolonged periods but yet makes it easy to miss when away for more than a week “Really?” the friends you are staying with yell. Maybe it’s the way that we clump together to form communities that then clump again, or maybe it’s the sensitive machismo that waifs through the air or maybe it’s the “lets put on a show and make a difference” mentality that permeates everything from our theatre, human rights organizations, musicians and indie-shops.
