I know that it can be difficult in our saturated media culture for protesters to break through the background chatter to get their message out, but it seems like this sign could have been given a bit more thought. It helps a little if you know that it was at a demonstration about the 500 ducks who died on a Syncrude tailings pond, and that the mother he’s referring to is Mother Earth ... at least I desperately, desperately hope that’s what’s going on here.New comments for this entry have been turned off and any existing ones are hidden.
