Company: Dad's Garage Theatre Company
Directed by: Dr. Improv PHD
Written by: Mr. Improv
Starring: Kevin Gillese, Lucky Yates, Christian Danley
Featuring old-hand improvisers transplanted from the city of champions, Uncle Granpa's Hoo-Dilly Storytime should have been better, and must be able to be better—it's been, after all, a popular weekly feature in Atlanta. Unfortunately, it fell flat. It could have been the day, it could have been the audience—plenty of the action comes from audience suggestion—but something was missing. The pace in the first half was stunted and the performers played inside baseball throughout, their jokes often unfathomable to the audience.
