Hailing from the West Coast city of Vancouver, Daniel Wesley knows how to play to an audience. He first made a name for himself with a song entitled "Ooo Ohh" that turned into a phenomenon on Vancouver rock station the Fox, and on his newest, self-titled album, songs like "Drunk + Stoned" rock that laid-back Vancouver vibe, mixing a bit of reggae with pop and rock. Plus subject matter is important to the people and in Canada, just like in Vancouver, you'd be hard pressed to find someone not in favour of being drunk and stoned.
(Taphouse, $15)
