Vancouver indie-folk/rock artist Marc Morrissette follows up two well-received albums with another bundle of somewhat traditonally arranged songs, sounding more and more like a ghostly Tom Petty in a grieving process. The experimentation associated with the Canadian indie role is mostly heard teetering under the percussion, only becoming discernable after a third or fourth full-length listen. Curious fans will be pleased to hear this musician evolving at his own pace, esteeming the kind of patience that would make this particular act seem appealing.
